The Team at the PKD Walk to cure Polycystic Kidney Disease

Community Involvement
We feel that it’s important to stay involved with the community. Every quarter, our employees nominate different projects and events which we can do as a team. Since 2010, we have participated in the following:
2010
- Provided basic supplies to the homeless in Downtown Denver
Nominated by Eric Coley
Back in his homwtown, Eric and a small group of his friends would each get together, pitch in some money, go to the grocery store for some baked chickens and noodles and prepare it in a huge pot then go to a shelter equivalent of our Denver Rescue Mission to give dinner to the homeless people in the area, hang out with them and talk for the evening.
Eric said, “It was our plan for every Monday night and it became such a community movement that it spread as we hoped it would. People caught on and joined and the word spread and now it has been passed down to others and the attention from my community is now directed at other homeless areas of San Antonio. It was started by a few of us and was undoubtedly the most rewarding thing that I have ever been a part of. I still partake in this event when I return home.”
In Q2 2010, IQ Wired conducted our flavor of Eric's tradition by putting together water bottles, socks, soap, toothpaste and other basic supplies and giving away care packages to those who need them.
